Playoff Format
All teams will play a total of 5 games (3 Round Robin and 2 playoff games).
- Teams are divided into two groups (A and B) based on regular season standings:
Group A – #1, 4, 6 | Group B – #2, 3, 5
- Each team plays 3 Round Robin games (2 within its group + 1 cross-over 1v5, 2v6, 3v4).
Round Robin games feature 4-on-4 sudden-death overtime (no shootout).
- Teams are ranked by points (2 = win, 1 = tie / OTL, 0 = loss).
-
Medal Rounds: #1 from each pool plays #2 from the opposite pool.
Winners advance to the 1st Place Final; losers compete for 3rd Place.
-
Classification Games: 3rd-place teams of each pool compete in a 2-game mini-series for 5th Place.
Classification Series Notes
- If tied 1–1 after Game 2 (regulation), a 5-minute “Mini-Game 3” is played (not sudden death).
-
3-player shootout if still tied after Mini-Game 3 to decide the series.
- If tied 1–1 after OT or shootout of Game 2, teams go to Mini-Game 3 or immediate shootout (time permitting).
- If a game ends in a tie during semi-finals or finals, a 4v4 sudden-death overtime will be played (time permitting), followed by a 3-player shootout (teams may repeat shooters after roster cycle).
General Playoff Notes
PIM threshold for playoffs resets to 15 PIM. Once surpassed, players receive a 1-game suspension or are suspended for the remainder of the playoffs if it is their second suspension of the season.
