In a hard fought championship game between the Sweathogs and Chargers, SWT came up on top and beat the CHA 2-1. The game could have gone either way as both teams played their hearts out and had great scoring opportunities. Goalies Adrien Lam, who had 2 shutouts and Chad Jorgensen, tourney MVP played were both spectacular in net.

Special thanks to the volunteers, programmers, refs, and of course the players who made the weekend tourney/BBQ/Beer Gardens a sucess. There are great video highlights from the tourney [see vids]

The tourney dates are March 23rd-26th. There will be a BBQ and a Beer Garden on the last day (Sunday). During the tourney there will be draws for great prizes and 50/50 tickets will be sold. All teams qualify for the playoffs. The playofftime slot is as follows. (Note all games at Killarney except for the Sat 10am game)

Fri and Sat games are based on regular season rankings (NOT team #).  Sunday game will be posted up after the finish of Sat's games.

The Parks Board would like to remind teams and players that alcohol in the the rink facilities is NOT permitted. It is a huge liability issue and any team/player caught will be suspended.

New jerseys will be ordered this week for new players and players with wrong orders. I will make a list and email Captains to confirm sizes and numbers. Captains please do not lose the waterbottle holders as they need to be return for use for next season.

Tonight's game 12/21/05 is at 8:45pm Riley Park AGO vs DAR. Please inform your teamates. The schedule is temporarly down for some reason.

City TV will be filming the Trout Lake Winter Fantasy on Breakfast Television live at Trout Lake on Friday, December 23, from 7:00-9:00am.

If any of you know of anyone (particularly kids) who would like to come skating for free, please pass the word around.

I'll put your logo and change your team name on the site. Please have your captain email me. I'll be coming around to take team pictures and will post them on the site.
